UPDATE: The Australian Government has delivered on its promise to mandate sustainability reporting for corporations, by introducing the “Treasury Laws Amendment (Financial Market Infrastructure and Other Measures) Bill” into parliament.

Including all sites when calculating the carbon footprint enables businesses to obtain a more accurate assessment of their environmental impact, identify opportunities for improvement, manage risks effectively, and demonstrate their commitment to sustainability and corporate responsibility.
